Manic Street Preachers: Sweet Venom

Not quite everything about the Manic Street Preachers

(4 of 5 stars) At the time this book came out, this was the best biography about the Manic Street Preachers. Since then, however, it's been eclipsed by Simon Price's Everything. Still, Sweet Venom is a good read about the band. It is more than just the cut-and-paste jobs of earlier Manics bios; the author goes beyond simple retelling of information that was previously available in the media. The book also has some wonderful photos, many not available anywhere else (I believe).
